The letter to Congressman Honda, regarding the House Resolution 121, which calls on the Japanese government to apologize for having forced young women to become sex slaves during World War II

¡ÈRegarding the House Resolution 121, which calls on the Japanese government to apologize for having forced young women to become sex slaves during World War II"

As we have been stating for many times, the House Resolution 121, which calls on the Japanese government to apologize for having forced young women to become sex slaves during World War II, to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, is totally unjustifiable since it is not based on historical facts but on false information or fabricated stories, as well as the House Resolution 759 last year. And we even concern if the Resolution could affect one of the most precious alliance for peace of the world, Japan-U.S. alliance.
Therefore, our Chairman Kase Hideaki sent letter to warn the above, to Representative Honda on February 16, 2007
As of 16th April 2007, two months after, no response was given by Congressman Honda.
As of 15th July 2007, no response was given by Congressman Honda.

The reality behind the 'comfort women': A response to House Resolution 759

¡ÈThe reality behind the 'comfort women': A response to House Resolution 759"

A House Resolution titled ¡ÈExpressing the sense of the House Representatives that the Government of Japan should formally acknowledge and accept responsibility for its sexual enslavement of young women, known to the world as ¡Ècomfort women¡É, during its colonial occupation of Asia and the Pacific Islands from the 1930s through the duration of World War ¶, and for other purposes¡É was approved by the Committee on International Relations for the House to vote on. We think the resolution is totally unjustifiable since it is not based on historical facts but on false information or fabricated stories. So, we sent this letter to all the Representatives by Fax on 28th September, 2006.
