Radhabinod Pal was one of the judges at the International Military Tribunal for the Far East (the ¡ÈTokyo Trials¡É) held in Japan in 1946 to judge those Japanese officials and officers charged by the Allies as Class-A War Criminals. Pal, unlike his colleagues on the bench, was a specialist in international law. Unlike his colleagues, Pal questioned the very legitimacy of the trial itself, and found himself forced to conclude, ¡ÈI would hold that each and everyone of the accused must be found not guilty of each and everyone of the charges in the indictment and should be acquitted of all those charges.¡É

The comfort women controversy erupted in the 1990s when Japanese military authorities were accused of having abducted or otherwise coerced women into becoming ¡Èsex slaves.¡É Since then, a great deal of research has been done on the subject, all of which indicates that the accusations are false.
But the flames of the controversy were reignited, this time in the United States. July 30, 2007 marks an inexplicable event: approval of a U.S. House of Representatives resolution condemning Japan.
Who is behind these malicious campaigns, and what motivates them? And exactly what is at the heart of the comfort women controversy?
The truth is at hand, thanks to Japan-Korea relations specialist Nishioka Tsutomu, who has struggled with this controversy since its inception, and who answers these questions, once and for all.

In 2003, official documents that demolish ¡½ once and for all ¡½ the ¡ÈNanking Massacre¡É myth were discovered by Prof. Higashinakano at the Museum of Chinese Nationalist Party in Taipei. Marked ¡Ètop-secret,¡É they were compiled in 1941 by the Chinese Nationalist Ministry of Information under the title Outline of International Propaganda Operations. The documents are detailed records describing counterintelligence activities implemented by the Nationalists in 1937, when war with Japan broke out, and thereafter. This book reveals the truth of the Nanking Massacre based on this ¡Ètop-secret¡É documents, once and for all.

The 143 photos which are commonly used to support accusations about the Nanking massacre are scientifically analyzed and the conclusions are unsettling. Most of these photos are traced to books published by propaganda arms of the Chinese Nationalists. All the photos are found to have been manipulated in one way or another to support the Nanking massacre hypothesis. Some innocent photos were carefully distorted electronically or manually. Other innocuous photos were coupled with unrelated and incriminating photos to produce fictitious collages. Commercial photos were taken out of context and provided with new and entirely inaccurate captions. Photos were even taken from Japanese sources and mislabeled. Support for these findings is fully presented in this book.

It is widely known that Sugihara Chiune saved 6000 Jewish refugees by issuing the so-called ¡Èvisas of life¡É in Kaunas, Lithuania just before World War ­¶. However, this is not all the story about Japanese saving of Jews at that time. Author Uesugi introduces another cases; Maj. Gen. Higuchi Kiichiro in Manchuria and Cap. Inuzuka in Shanghai. In addition to that Japanese government formally adopted a ¡ÈPolicy Prospectus Vis-A-vis the Jews on Dec. 6 1938, which clearly dictates no discrimination of Jews in agreement with the time-honored assertion of equality for all people. The book discloses historical facts concerning Japanese policy toward Jews and how it was actually executed.

This book is a Taiwanese critic¡Çs radical refutation of the Chinese government¡Çs contention (and the prevailing perception) that Manzhouguo was an illegitimate state contrived by imperialist Japan. Mr. Huang Wenxiong opens his argument with a question: ¡ÈHow does one explain the fact that each year, over one million Chinese flooded into Manzhouguo ¡Ý a place that the Japanese colonized and proceeded to brutally exploit?¡É Then, citing abundant factual information, the author proceeds to present the true picture of Manzhouguo: a last hope and a refuge for the Chinese.

This book discusses the events that took place in Nanking in 1937 from 15 perspectives. The author¡Çs discussions are based on primary sources (Japanese, Chinese and Western historical documents and eyewitness accounts), which include population statistics, burial records, International Committee records, an official military report prepared by Chinese Gen. He Yingqin. Mr. Tanaka concludes that there was no massacre in Nanking. He also exposes the fakery behind the photographs used in Iris Chang's The Rape of Nanking, which are in sharp contrast with a contemporaneous photographic news series published in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper.

This book is a research work intended to unearth and reveal the truth about the events that transpired in Nanking on December 13, 1937, when Japanese invaded Nanking, and thereafter. Its conclusions were reached via the painstaking examination and reexamination of primary sources, which yielded information that resolves most of the issues currently under debate, and show that the ¡ÈNanking Massacre¡É is a product of wartime and postwar propaganda. Without the benefit of this book, an understanding of the facts about Nanking is not possible.
