The Resolution on “comfort women” which passed the United States House of Representatives in July 2007 was based on the utterly false assumption that the Japanese Army systematically abducted young women for the purpose of sexual servitude and bitterly mistreated them as sex slaves. This assumption contradicts with a official US military record. As to the military comfort women stations, US Army used them in Japan, Korea and Vietnam. Moreover, during 7 year occupation of Japan, US Army committed 3738 murders, nearly 10,000 of injuries and well over 10,000 rapes.

It has been often said that German had made sincere apology for the committed war crimes and had expended huge amount of reparations to Jews and other ethnic groups, while Japan had failed to demonstrate sufficient remorse for their war crimes committed. Protest against Atomic Bomb on August 10, 1945

On August 6, 1945, American aircraft dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. After reviewing Truman’s statement and determining the nature and extent of casualties and damage, the Japanese government drafted a protest in the strongest language. The protest was wired to the U.S. government via neutral Switzerland on August 10, and received on the following day. The entire text of the protest is shown here.

Paid Advertisement concerning “Comfort Women” Run in the Washington Post “Facts Are Our Only Weapon”

 
The June 14 edition of the Washington Post carried a paid advertisement concerning the comfort women, placed by Sugiyama Koichi and four members of the Committee for the Dissemination of Historical Fact. The advertisement created a sensation, eliciting positive as well as negative responses in the U.S.

Mr. Sugiyama wrote an essay, which appeared in the August 2006 opinion monthly WiLL, explaining his reasons for undertaking this venture. He also describes the resistance he encountered from the New York Times and the Washington Post during the process of placing the advertisement.


Open Questions for Prime Minister Wen Jiabao: Can You Prove There Was a Massacre in Nanking? by MOTEGI Hiromichi

 
As shown in the “Opinion” column of our site, “Open Questions to Prime Minister Wen Jiabao of the People Republic of China” was submitted by Mr. Kase and 12 members of Committee for the Examination of the Facts about Nanking when he visited Japan from 11 to 14 of April, 2007. Mr. Moteki, Deputy Chairman of our Society explains why he could not answer these questions. The real facts concerning the so called Nanking Incident are revealed through this article, originally published in June issue of WiLL magazine.
